Friulian shoes with velvet brocade fabric
 Today, as then, in San Daniele del Friuli, these shoes continue to be made according to ancient Friulian tradition. Cape2Milano has produced a series using the famous velvet brocade fabric. They are hand-sewn with waxed thread, and the soles are quilted with thread to avoid glue and ensure greater breathability. Each pair of scarpets or papusse (as they are called in Friuli) is different from the next, and no two are exactly alike. Unique. Completely handmade.
